Hungry!

If you've met me before, you'd realize that I'm obsessed with food. And thank God I can burn things off quickly and that I exercise, or I'd weigh 500 lbs... So here's the inside of my fridge, minus all the junk food (because, hey, in my drawn little world, I can make it look like anything I want!)

IF - Captain....of the football team

I'm not loving this one, but the idea is funny. And I want to exercise my brain so I'm glad I did this weeks topic.

Anyone know how to get your blog's header and your own picture (to the left here) to actually stay, and not be the blue square with question mark?!?!? I've been having an impossible time to get them to stay - when I load it up, it shows, but the next day they are gone. Short of reloading them everyday, I don't know what to do. I've searched Blogger help to no avail..... HELP!

I've also been sketching like mad lately, planning out what to work to finish, and I think I need to add some animals-in-human-situations, so here's a bunny.

I'm currently working on new pieces for my portfolio, because I'm aiming to do a mailing of postcards in a month and a half, and I want to wow! the pants off of anyone who sees my work. Here's a sketch of a piece I'm finishing up in full color right now. I'll post the finished version soon.

My first post on my brand new blog. How delicious. Perhaps you are wondering what "Life with Sam" refers to? Well, its my life, which includes my dog Sam, a three year old mutt who's a momma's boy. On this blog I hope to chronicle the path that my illustration career is on right now, sharing new art and inspiration, and hoping for some feedback. And now, let the posting commence!
